My fleeting shadow skimming the dried prairie vegetation speaks to my relationship with the land. I am a transient visitor. Along my path of travel, flora and fauna struggle to survive in a drought-stressed ecosystem. The Llano Estacado appears lifeless. Every day I reach into my photo archives to revive memories of a vibrant biome.
