The day starts with the Llano Estacado Street Sweeper trying to move Eastern New Mexico into West Texas and beyond. Forty to fifty mile per hour winds wreak havoc and send mile high towers of dust into the atmosphere. By afternoon winds subside and airborne dust settles quickly, thanks to the high altitude of the Llano plateau. A beautiful sunset prepares to light up the evening skies. I rush to the town lake to captures the serenity of dusk at the lake.
